Device and method demonstrations
Digital Mental Health and Neurotechnologies
Understand what data from smartphones, smart watches, physiological sensors, EEG and virtual reality can and cannot tell you.
You will work with nine teaching datasets covering ecological momentary assessment, smartphone use, heart rate, heart-rate variability, electrodermal activity, browser-based tasks and EEG. Demonstrations include a smart watch, smartphone, Meta smart glasses and Oculus Quest 2. You will then choose a technology for a defined professional problem while weighing cost, privacy, data quality, clinical usefulness and limitations.
